1. Introduction

Welcome to Tailored Copywriting. These Terms & Conditions govern the use of my copywriting services. By engaging with my services, you agree to the following terms.

2. Scope of Services

Tailored Copywriting provides professional writing services, including but not limited to website copy, blog writing, ad copy, email marketing, and social media content. The exact scope of work, deadlines, and deliverables will be outlined in a separate agreement for each project. All work is carried out remotely unless otherwise agreed.

3. Fees & Payment Terms

• A 50% deposit is required before work commences, with the remaining 50% due upon project completion before final files are delivered.
• All invoices must be paid within 7 days of the invoice date.
• Payments are accepted via Bank Transfer.
• Work will only commence once the deposit has been received. Payment delays may result in delays in project delivery.
• If a project exceeds 30 days, an interim invoice may be issued for completed work.

4. Revisions & Edits

• Projects include up to two rounds of revisions at no additional cost.
• Revision requests must be submitted within 7 days of receiving the first draft.
• Additional revisions beyond the initial two rounds will be charged at £75 per revision.
• Any requests that significantly change the original brief may be subject to additional charges.
• Revisions requested 30 days after the final submission will be considered a new project and charged accordingly.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

• If a project is canceled before work begins, the deposit is refundable.
• If a project is canceled after work has started, the deposit is non-refundable.
• If Tailored Copywriting cancels the project due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued for any incomplete work.
• If a project is postponed for more than 30 days without clear communication, the project may be terminated, and any work completed will be invoiced accordingly.

6. Intellectual Property & Copyright

• Upon full payment, the Client receives full rights to the final copy.
• Tailored Copywriting retains the right to use unpaid or rejected work as portfolio samples unless otherwise agreed.
• The Client may not modify or resell the content without permission.
• Any drafts, ideas, or proposals not used in the final project remain the property of Tailored Copywriting.

7. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential information private. Tailored Copywriting will not disclose or share sensitive client information without written consent. However, the Client agrees that Tailored Copywriting may reference completed projects for portfolio purposes unless otherwise agreed.

8. Liability & Disclaimers

• Tailored Copywriting is not responsible for any legal issues, loss of revenue, or damages resulting from using the delivered copy.
• The Client is responsible for fact-checking and compliance with industry regulations before publishing content.
• No guarantees are made regarding specific results, including increased sales, search engine rankings, or audience engagement.

9. Deadlines & Client Responsibilities

• Tailored Copywriting will make every effort to meet agreed deadlines; however, timely project completion relies on the Client providing all necessary information, feedback, and approvals.
• Delays in client responses may result in deadline extensions.
• If the Client fails to provide necessary input within 30 days, the project may be considered inactive, and any completed work will be invoiced.

10. Late Payment Policy

• A reminder will be sent if payment is not received within 7 days of the invoice due date.
• If payment is still outstanding after 30 days, a 5% late fee may be applied to the outstanding balance.
• Persistent non-payment may result in legal action or the involvement of a collections agency.

11. Termination of Agreement

Either party may terminate the agreement if the other breaches these terms. Any outstanding payments must be settled before termination. If the Client terminates the project after work has commenced, all work completed up to that point will be invoiced accordingly.

12. Governing Law

The laws of England govern these Terms & Conditions. Any disputes will be resolved in the English courts.

13. Force Majeure

Tailored Copywriting is not liable for delays or non-fulfillment of services due to unforeseen circumstances beyond reasonable control, such as natural disasters, technical failures, or health emergencies.
